Lite deprecation FAQs

Starting 4 October 2023, creators who were already on the Lite plan before 21 June 2023, will have access to all of the features available on our Pro plan at their existing 5% platform fee.

Your Patreon platform fee will remain the same, as will your payment processing rates. There is nothing you need to do to begin using Pro plan features starting October 4.

This change won’t impact your members and community – their access and billing date will stay the same.

Your Patreon platform fee will remain the same unless you upgrade your plan. If you upgrade to the Premium plan, your platform fee will be 12%, and the 5% fee will no longer be available. Visit our pricing page to compare plans.
