Patreon has waived our platform fees for everyone based in Ukraine for the next three months, starting today to 31 May. If you are a creator based in Ukraine, you will not see any platform fees deducted from your earnings during that time.
We know that humanitarian organisations, journalists, and creators of all kinds are doing important work in Ukraine right now. And many are facing financial hardship as a result of the Russian invasion. We hope that removing these fees will relieve some of the burden and help support journalists, creators, and organisations in Ukraine.
How are you determining creators based in Ukraine?
If your location is set to Ukraine or if you payout to a Ukrainian bank or PayPal account, this applies to you regardless of where you might currently be located.
I just started a Patreon, does this apply to me?
Yes, this applies to all creators – including new creators – based in Ukraine.
Does this apply to all fees?
There will be no platform fees deducted from accounts for creators based in Ukraine to 31 May. This will not apply to payment processing fees charged by our payment processors. For a description of fees, please see this article.
