When you withdraw your balance on Patreon, it typically takes 1-3 business days to reach your PayPal or bank account. Please note that you can only pay out once every 24 hours and if you try to pay out again within this timeframe, you will see a notification with the exact time and date that you can next pay out.
If you're seeing that your transfer may take up to 10 business days, that is because our team is running a few checks on your account due to the volume you've processed. This is part of our effort to keep creators and patrons safe on our platform.
Once those checks are complete, you'll receive an e-mail to let you know that your funds are on their way.
Account Updates: After your first successful payout on Patreon, you will encounter a 5 day payout hold if you do one of the following:
- Update or change your payout method
- Are a creator who is subject to receive a 1099-K without having filled out your W-9 form**
If you are under the 5 day payout hold, you’ll receive an email with more details, including the specific time that the payout lock will be released in PST (pacific standard time.)
Note: If your payout is blocked at midnight on the 5th, your automatic payout will not process, so you will want to manually payout your funds.
As these are measures in place to ensure the security of payouts for creators, we will not be able to remove holds early.

**Creators who are subject to receive a 1099-K will be required to submit form W-9. Once a creator is required to submit form W-9, all payouts will be locked until form W-9 is successfully submitted. To see who is subject to form 1099-k, please review this Help Center article.
