Patreon Lens is a new content sharing feature in the Patreon mobile app that serves as the easiest way to give your patrons exclusive, behind-the-scenes content.
Lens allows you to share videos and photos that disappear after 24 hours.
Important note: There is a slight difference between starting your Lens on iOS and Android.
To start your Lens on the Patreon app for iOS, click the plus sign from your Dashboard page. Then select Lens. This will open the camera so you can begin snapping photos and recording videos.

You'll need to allow microphone and camera access to the app in order to record.
You'll know the video is recording when the red line shows up. To record a video hold down the white circle button in the bottom center of the app. Please note that we currently limit videos to 15 seconds.
You'll also be able to upload photos and videos from your camera roll. Select the icon in the bottom left corner to upload content from your camera roll.
To add text to the post, select the Aa icon in the top right corner. From here, you can adjust the color of your font along with the alignment. Select the A in the top center to choose between borders for the text. You can select the trashcan icon in the top left corner to delete your text.
You can adjust the privacy level between public and patron only – and you can select certain tier levels to receive your exclusive Lens access!
Select save to save the post to your camera roll. Select the red arrow in the bottom right to publish your Lens post. Your patrons will be able to access this while on your creator page in the app.
If you want to delete your lens post, play the clip from your creator profile, then select the three dots in the bottom right corner.
