Please note that canceling a membership will not remove any pending payments on your profile. You can visit your Billing history page to see any pending bills.
Here’s how to cancel your membership depending on your device type:

If you are also a creator, make sure you follow this guide while in your member profile. To check, click on your profile photo in the bottom left corner and click on your member profile if your creator profile is selected.
- Locate and click on the creator under the Memberships header on the left navigation
- Click on the Membership tab
- Click on the Edit button

- Click on Cancel membership
- Click on the Confirm cancelation button
- You’ll automatically have the opportunity to stay connected as a free member — You can deselect this option if you prefer canceling without staying connected as a free member

If you are also a creator, make sure you follow this guide while in your member profile. You can use the profile switcher to change between your creator and member profile by tapping on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Home tab [img].
- Tap on the membership icon
in the top right corner of the screen, next to your profile picture
- A list of all your memberships in alphabetical order will populate on the screen
- Tap on the membership from this list to go to the full member view of the creator’s Patreon
- Tap on your current membership

- Tap on the Confirm cancelation button
- You’ll automatically have the opportunity to stay connected as a free member — You can deselect this option if you prefer canceling without staying connected as a free member

For the most part, when you cancel, your membership will not renew for the upcoming billing date. This date depends on your creator's billing schedule and other factors. If you cancel a per creation membership, you may have a final charge for pending bills. We will retry processing if you have a declined payment for a monthly (non-charge upfront).

There are a few reasons that you might not see a creator on your Active memberships page:
- You may have canceled already: In most cases, we'll remove a creator from your Active memberships when you cancel. Please refer to your Billing history for past payments
- The creator may have removed your membership: If you've been blocked from having a membership with a creator, we'll remove that creator from your Active memberships page
- You may have another account: If you don't have any Billing history with a creator and they aren't on your Memberships page, then you may have more than one account. You can enter possible emails on our password reset page. If you get a reset email to another email, then log in with those credentials to cancel
