This article will guide you through how to request a change to your Adult Content status.
Our Trust and Safety team reviews creators from time to time to make sure pages with adult content are flagged accordingly. As a reminder, any account with adult content should be flagged as such during its creation or immediately when the content evolves towards mature themes. You can read more if your creator page should be marked as adult content on this article.
You will receive an email if we have reviewed your page and marked it as adult content. You will not be able to change the status unless you appeal the decision. You can appeal this decision by navigating to your settings.
- Log in to Patreon.com and navigate to your Creator Page Editor.
- Click into Page Settings from the top menu, or follow this URL: https://www.patreon.com/edit/settings
- Scroll down to the "Adult Content" section and click Request to change status (pictured below)
- This will open a ticket with the Trust and Safety team where you can submit your request.
From there, you will receive 1:1 guidance from a member of the team. They will offer advice such as how to create a duplicate account to host different projects. Or let you know what part of your content raised the flag.
If you have doubts on whether or not your content should be marked as "Adult Content", please send us an email at guidelines@patreon.com. We are always happy to help.
