Beginning April 3, 2019, we have removed the option for patrons to create or edit a custom URL. Creators will still have the ability to customize their Patron creator page URL.
When a URL is claimed on Patreon, that URL is no longer available for anyone else to use, and Patreon is unable to free it up. This change is being made so we are able to preserve more available customized URLs for creators.
If you are a patron, you will no longer see the option to edit your URL since this feature has been removed from the website. If you'd like to share your support for a creator with your network, you can share using social media share links.
If you are a creator, you'll still be able to edit or customize your URL as long as you have a launched creator page, and the URL is not already claimed. You can find step by step instructions in this help center article.
If you have unlaunched your page, and have a patron-only account, you can edit your URL once you relaunch your creator page.
