How to access your podcast feed with Acast

  • Updated

We’ve made the decision with Acast to discontinue our integration as of May 30th, 2025. We’ve partnered with Acast to ensure there is no disruption to you. Members will be automatically redirected to the new RSS link from creators. In the rare instance that the redirected RSS link doesn't work as expected for some fans, we recommend visiting the Patreon app to get a new RSS link.

If you’re subscribed to a creator who uses Acast, you can quickly access your private podcast feed and start listening. First you will need to have the podcast app installed that you’d like to use, then proceed to the next steps.

If the creator is not using Patreon’s integration with Acast to provide podcast feeds to members, click here for information about how to Subscribe to your Audio RSS link on the Patreon app.

Connect to your private RSS feed

If you are a member of a Patreon creator's podcast, then you will be given access to a secure RSS feed, powered by Acast: this RSS feed is your key to accessing these private episodes.

On desktop and mobile web, you can find your personal RSS feed link in the Memberships tab of your creator’s page if your creator offers it for your tier.

In the mobile app, tap on your creator's profile and scroll while on the creator’s Patreon to reveal the three dots button in the upper right corner. Select Connect to RSS feed (Powered by acast).

Once you click the Connect to RSS Feed button, you will be prompted to sign in with your Patreon login details to confirm that you are a member. Then you'll be presented with a list of podcast apps to listen to the show.

If the app you click is installed on your device, it will automatically open and help you subscribe to the RSS feed. If you see an app you’d like to use that you don’t yet have installed, please install that app first.

If you are unsure if the app you want to use supports your RSS link, you can check that out here: Which podcast apps will my custom audio RSS link work with?

Listening on a desktop computer?

If you are on a Windows desktop, you should start by installing iTunes. If you're on a Mac, Apple Podcasts and iTunes are preinstalled. Once installed, just as above, click the Apple Podcasts button and it will automatically launch Apple Podcasts or iTunes (if you’re using Windows).

FAQ

  • You can find the link to your unique feed on your pledge confirmation page, in your confirmation email, in the Membership tab of the creator you’re pledging to, or on the mobile app by tapping the creator’s profile and selecting the three dots in the upper right and choosing Connect to RSS feed (Powered by Acast).

  • You’ll want to ensure you’re in a tier and not making a custom pledge. As the feed is tier-specific, you will need to join a tier that is the closest equivalent to your current pledge amount in order to receive the feed. This article will walk you through how to edit your membership and select a tier.

If you’re part of a tier and still don’t have access to your feed, we recommend getting in touch with the creator to request their Patreon Subscribe URL from Acast.

  • Nope! You can use whichever podcast app you’re using now, or you can choose from several great app options when you click the Patreon Subscribe URL from the creator you’re pledging to from your Membership tab.

  • If you’ve paid up front for your content, you’ll have access to new episodes through the duration of the month you’ve paid for, at which point you’ll lose access to the feed and any subsequent new episodes. Existing episodes will remain in your podcast app of choice.

If you don’t pay up front for your membership, you’ll immediately lose access to new episodes.

  • If you experience any issues accessing your RSS feed, please follow these steps:

    • If you are currently subscribed to a Patreon RSS feed for your creator’s show, unsubscribe from that feed in your podcast app.
    • Click the link to access your unique feed from your pledge confirmation page, in your confirmation email, or in the Membership tab of the creator you’re pledging to.
    • You may be prompted to sign in with your Patreon login and to authorize Acast.
    • You'll then be presented with the option to select your preferred podcast player or to copy your private RSS feed.
