With our Vimeo integration, you can upload gated videos directly to Patreon posts. This means exclusive content for your members without the fear of link sharing.

Importante: per caricare i video con la nostra integrazione è necessario un account Vimeo Standard (o superiore) e un account Vimeo Advanced per la diretta streaming. Se non hai un abbonamento a pagamento a Vimeo, puoi registrarti per una prova gratuita di 30 giorni per i piani Standard e Advanced. Connessione del tuo account Vimeo Standard a Patreon

Puoi connettere il tuo account Vimeo a Patreon tramite una delle seguenti sezioni del tuo account:

• When selecting Video while creating a new post
• In the Connected Apps section in your Profile Settings
• Nella sezione App delle tue Impostazioni creator

Selecting the Connect Vimeo button in any of the above sections will prompt a message asking for permission to connect your Vimeo account.

After selecting Allow, Patreon will connect your Vimeo account.

Now you can post member-only videos or embed your videos when making a new video post by clicking the Create button → Video.

You can also disconnect and reconnect your Vimeo account in the same manner anytime. Patreon can also prompt you to reconnect your account if Vimeo reports that your connection has expired.

Posting member-only videos with the Vimeo integration

When uploading, please ensure that you have enough storage/bandwidth quota within Vimeo and are uploading using a minimum of a Vimeo Standard account.

3. Make sure you have Make this a drop turned off — You can learn more about Drops here
4. Select Connect Vimeo — It will prompt you to Log in to Vimeo and connect your Vimeo account to Patreon if you haven’t already
5. Select Upload to Vimeo
6. In a moment, your member-only video will be uploaded and embedded. How fast this happens depends on how fast Vimeo prepares the video, so if the video does not get embedded, just wait a few minutes and refresh the page as the on-screen instructions explain
7. If you're uploading on a desktop, once your video has uploaded, you can preview your post before publishing by clicking the Preview post  button
8. Fill out the rest of the details and Publish your video post

Se modifichi l'anteprima di un video su Vimeo, questa si aggiornerà automaticamente anche su Patreon.

Puoi anche scegliere di caricare un video direttamente su Vimeo: in questo caso dovrai copiare e incollare il link del video nella casella di testo di un post video su Patreon.

If you do not have a Vimeo Standard account we recommend uploading from your library easily embed your existing videos or the videos you recently uploaded directly to Vimeo by using the post editor while making new video posts.

While embedding a member-only post via this feature, you may end up with gray thumbnails due to this feature being aimed at embedded public videos from your library. If you wish to have the video be member-only we recommend first making the video at Vimeo Public before embedding it with the From Library feature and then changing the video settings at Vimeo to member-only again.

1. Click on Create from the left-hand navigation
   
2. Select Video at the top of the post editor
3. Make sure you have Make this a drop turned off — You can learn more about Drops here
4. Select Connect Vimeo — It will prompt you to Log in to Vimeo and connect your Vimeo account to Patreon if you haven’t already
5. Select a video from your Vimeo library

Come vengono visualizzati i miei video? 

Eligible members can view your video on the Patreon website and mobile app. If members have post notifications enabled, we'll send them an email with a preview of your video. 

Come apparirà su Vimeo?  

Per i creator: 

Your video will populate in your Vimeo library, with privacy settings already configured so that only members who can access a particular post can check out the video. (Not to worry, though — you can always change the settings if you need to!)

For members:

Since videos uploaded via Patreon will automatically be whitelisted(protected), these videos will not show up when a member visits your Vimeo page. Videos will only be accessible on Patreon.

• Yes. You’ll find videos posted on Patreon in your Vimeo account. They’ll be gated so that only members who can access a particular post can check the video.
