As a member, you can choose to start a membership to creators in your choice of supported currencies. Please visit this article, Patreon's supported currencies, to find a list of currently supported currencies. We are working on adding more currencies in the future.

Akzeptierte Zahlungsarten 

Je nach Gerät und Standort akzeptieren wir Zahlungen über PayPal, Apple Pay und Venmo sowie Zahlungen mit den folgenden Zahlungskarten:

So änderst du deine Währungseinstellungen für eine neue Mitgliedschaft:
  1. Under the Order Summary section at checkout, your Currency will display under the total payment amount

Eine vorhandene Mitgliedschaft aktualisieren

So änderst du deine Währungseinstellungen für vorhandene Mitgliedschaften:
  1. Click on the Settings link from the left sidebar navigation (if you're also a creator, click Your account in the bottom-left corner and select Settings)
  2. Then click on the Memberships link from the submenu
  3. Wähle den/die Kreative*n aus, für den/die du deine Mitgliedschaft aktualisieren möchtest, und klicke dann auf die Schaltfläche Details anzeigen
  4. Klicke neben der Zahlungsart auf Bearbeiten
  5. Klicke unten auf der Seite auf den angezeigten Währungscode (z. B. USD, EUR, GBP usw.).
  6. Wähle die gewünschte Währung und klicke auf die Schaltfläche„Aktualisieren“, um deine Einstellungen zu speichern. Dein Zahlungsbetrag wird automatisch in der Bestellübersicht aktualisiert
  7. Befolge die weiteren Schritte, um deine Mitgliedschaft zu aktualisieren

Currency editing is currently not available for subscription billing, but we're working to add this functionality in the future. If your creator uses subscription billing and you'd like to change the currency you pay in, you can cancel and sign up again in your desired currency. Keep in mind that this starts a new membership — if you're on an annual plan, you'll lose any remaining prepaid time and be charged again for a full year, rather than switching currencies mid-term.

Changing the currency preference

The currency preference determines what currency is displayed to you when browsing for new memberships. To change it, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Settings link from the left sidebar navigation (if you're also a creator, click Your account in the bottom-left corner and select Settings)
  2. Then, click on the Account link from the submenu (if you're also a creator, go to the Account settings section, and select Account)
  3. Go to the Currency preference section, and click the Currency button
  4. Select one of the currencies displayed
  5. Your preferred currency is now updated

  • When pledging to a creator who operates and sets prices in a currency other than your preferred currency, Patreon converts the tier price for you using a conversion based on historical exchange rate data.   • Credit and debit card transactions on Patreon are currently accepted in our supported currencies. If you're viewing the site in one of these supported checkout currencies, the entire checkout process will be in that currency. Otherwise, the currency displayed will be the creator's currency.
  • Similarly, if you pay through PayPal and you're viewing the site in one of these supported checkout currencies, the entire checkout process will be in that currency. Otherwise, the currency displayed will be the creator's currency.
