Quips is part of the network bundle that’s currently in early access. This feature will be gradually rolled out to creators.
Quips are lightweight, public posts that appear in the home feed for existing and potential fans. They’re perfect for sharing quick updates, behind-the-scenes content or snippets from your paid work.
We’ve put together a flexible resource to make your own with ideas, examples and best practices to help you start with Quips. You can find post templates and inspiration in our Collaborative Growth Programme Media Playbook.
Key things to know about Quips
- All Quips are public by default and must remain public for discoverability
- Members aren’t notified about every Quip to prevent spam, but may be notified about highly engaging Quips
- Anyone can comment on your Quips by default – this is one way you’ll grow engagement
- Quips can only be created from the Patreon mobile app
Quips can include text, images or short videos. They are meant to serve as an entry point to your page for people who may not know you yet.
