Note: We strongly encourage Adult/18+ creators with access to a government-issued ID to make use of our secure, Jumio-powered verification process available in your page settings, which only takes a few minutes. Approval wait times for the verification of alternative (non government-issued) IDs may take many months depending on volume.
Every alternative (non government-issued) ID document you submit must:
- Be written in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French or Italian.
- Be a photo or scanned copy that presents clearly and without glare, with all four corners visible and font large enough to read.
- (If an expiration date is listed), be valid as of the date the document is submitted.
- Show the exact same name* as those on the other submitted documents.
*We understand names may have legally changed in the course of life; those creators should additionally submit notarized paperwork (e.g. marriage certificate, divorce decree, certificate of naturalization showing a new name, a signed court order for a name change) to account for the name differences.
Adult/18+ creators age verifying with alternative (non government-issued) IDs must submit identification documents from each of the following lists, including:
- One (1) document from List A and
- Two (2) documents from List B and
- One (1) document from List C.
