Customizing your URL
Changing your URL will not affect your existing patrons, messages, or redirect your old URL.
Patrons will simply find a new URL when next they visit your page. We suggest you alert your patrons before changing your URL so they can update any bookmarks corresponding to your page.
Step 1: While logged in to your creator page, click the Edit your page button to get to your page editor.
Step 2: Click the Basics settings page link from the top menu, and scroll down. Click into the Patreon page URL text box, and enter your custom URL.
Step 3: Click on the Save changes button to save your custom Patreon page URL. The change will take effect immediately, and you can start sharing your URL with potential patrons as soon as you've made the change!
What if the URL I want is already claimed but seems inactive?
If the URL you want is already claimed, you'll find red text letting you know that that URL is already taken.
Patreon custom URLs are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if the associated Patreon page seems inactive, Patreon is unable to free up that URL.
