Exporting your audience's emails from Patreon

  • Updated

In this article, you’ll learn how to export a list of contacts from your creator account and the possibilities you have to engage with your fans through email.

We are testing a way for you to add email contacts to your free membership, where you can share newsletter-style updates and more easily convert subscribers to paid options. We will share updates in June about early access to creators who have used the MailChimp integration.

How to export your contacts

  1. On Desktop, select Creator studio in the left-side navigation menu
  2. Click on Audience from the sub-menu
  3. You'll land on your Relationship manager

  4. You can search in the list by name or email. You can also filter by Paid and Free members, Active or Canceled, Payment declined and New this month. To use other variants, click on the Filters button

  5. To edit the columns that are visible, click on the table settings icon Settings-icon.png in the right-side corner and then select the information you want to see in the list

  6. Once you're done with selecting the data, you can download the CSV file by clicking on the button. There is no need to select the contacts in the checkbox. The CSV file will show all the contacts in criteria you filtered.

Automation tools

You can download the most up-to-date list of member emails from your Relationship Manager at any time and upload them to automation tools like Zapier, a code-free platform for connecting services.

You can use Zapier to add new members to your MailChimp list, or add member contact details to a spreadsheet when they join your page.

MailChimp no longer supports its integration with Patreon. To continue adding members to your MailChimp lists, you will need to export your member list and upload it to MailChimp.

To ensure you are including the most up-to-date list of fans in your MailChimp, the best way to do so is to filter and download contacts from the Patreon Relationship Manager.
