Configurare un podcast su Patreon

You can create one or more podcast shows on Patreon, each with its own unique RSS feed. This guide walks you through how to create and manage podcast shows directly on Patreon, whether you’re just getting started or organizing multiple series.

Come creare un podcast

1. On Desktop, click on Your account from the bottom-left corner and then select Settings
2. In the Creator settings section, select Podcasts and audio
3. Click on the New podcast button
4. You'll be prompted to Sync your feed, then select Not now. If you host your podcast elsewhere, you can also Migrate from another platform and/or Sync with another platform. If you want to go that route, check their dedicated guides instead

     • Episodic: Other podcast apps will update this show with the most recent episode shown first, but fans can enjoy episodes in any order. The Patreon feed won't change
     • Serial: Other podcast apps will update this show with the most recent episode shown at the end. Choose this option when you want fans to enjoy your podcast in the order it's published. Existing episodes will be assigned a number based on the publish date. The Patreon feed won't change

7. Click on Distribution to choose how members can listen:
   • On Patreon: By default, fans can listen to episodes directly on Patreon, both on desktop and on the mobile app
   • On Spotify: If you choose to enable the integration, fans can listen in the Spotify app. Learn more about how to Share your podcast on Spotify. You can also merge your public and Patreon feeds into a single, seamless experience with Spotify Synced Feeds to drive discovery and membership growth
   • If you host your public episodes on Patreon, you can also share your public RSS on Apple Podcasts, so anyone can listen to your free Patreon episodes

8. Click Done

Configura più podcast

Passaggi per creare più podcast

1. Create a new podcast following the steps from the How to create a podcast section above
2. After creating your new shows, you'll see a combined feed appear that includes all shows, and your original show will remain
3. To move episodes into your new podcasts, use your Library
4. Informa i tuoi fan:
   • Informa il tuo pubblico sui nuovi show e su dove trovarli.
   • Messaggio di esempio: "Stiamo utilizzando la funzionalità per più podcast di Patreon per organizzare meglio i nostri contenuti! Ora puoi iscriverti a feed separati in base agli show che ami di più. Se hai problemi ad accedere agli episodi, faccelo sapere!"

Un episodio può appartenere a un solo show podcast alla volta.

Aggiungi e gestisci gli episodi

Una volta configurato il tuo podcast, puoi iniziare ad aggiungere nuovi episodi creando un post audio o video. Ogni post può essere assegnato a uno specifico show podcast e apparirà nei feed RSS dei tuoi membri in base alle impostazioni di accesso.

Se carichi un file video, Patreon estrarrà automaticamente l'audio e lo includerà nel feed RSS del tuo podcast.

Aggiungi un nuovo episodio

1. On Desktop, click on Create from the left-side navigation menu
2. Seleziona un tipo di post audio o video. Entrambi i formati possono essere distribuiti tramite RSS.
3. Carica un file video o audio.
   • Se carichi un file video, Patreon genererà automaticamente una versione solo audio per il feed RSS.
   • Per assicurarti che il tuo file soddisfi i requisiti tecnici di Patreon, clicca su Istruzioni per l'utilizzo dei contenuti multimediali nell'angolo in alto a sinistra della schermata di caricamento.
4. Aggiungi il titolo dell'episodio (obbligatorio).
5. Aggiungi una descrizione, se lo desideri. Questa apparirà come note dell'episodio nel feed RSS ed è un ottimo modo per fornire contesto aggiuntivo agli ascoltatori.
6. Seleziona Aggiungi al podcast e scegli lo show podcast che a cui desideri aggiungere l'episodio dal menu a discesa.
7. Puoi scegliere Nessun podcast se non vuoi che il post venga aggiunto a un podcast e condiviso tramite RSS.
8. Compila le impostazioni facoltative dell'episodio:
   • Aggiungi un numero di episodio e/o una stagione.
   • Seleziona il tipo di episodio: intero, trailer o bonus.
   • Seleziona se i contenuti sono espliciti. Scopri di più sui contenuti espliciti per i podcast.
9. Clicca su Avanti, completa i dettagli del post rimanenti e clicca su Pubblica.

You can also add new episodes directly from your Library by following the steps below:

1. From your Library, click on the Podcast dropdown menu
2. Select the show you want to add new episodes to
3. Click Add episodes in the top-right corner and choose New episode from the sub-menu
4. The post editor will open, then follow the steps from the Add a new episode section above

Spostare episodi tra podcast.

Riorganizza rapidamente i tuoi contenuti assegnando gli episodi a un altro podcast o un'altra stagione. Puoi farlo dalla Library, spostando episodi singoli o interi podcast.

Per episodio

Ideale per selezionare manualmente episodi individuali tra diversi show:

1. Go to your Library from the left sidebar
2. Seleziona gli episodi da spostare.
3. Clicca su Modifica > Modifica podcast o stagione per assegnarli.

Per podcast

Ideale per riorganizzare un intero podcast:

1. From your Library, click on the Podcast dropdown menu
2. Select the show you want to add move episodes to
3. Clicca su Aggiungi episodi nell'angolo in alto a destra, quindi scegli Sposta episodi.

Un episodio può appartenere a un solo show podcast alla volta.

Modifica o elimina episodi

Aggiorna i dettagli degli episodi, modifica l'accesso o i prezzi o rimuovi gli episodi direttamente dalla Library:

• Edit episode details: Click More next to the episode and select Edit post
• Edit price: If you selected to Sell this post in the Audience settings of the post, click Edit in the top-right corner of your Library, select Edit price, then set your desired price. Learn more about Selling your posts and collections
• Eliminare gli episodi: seleziona gli episodi e clicca su Elimina nell'angolo in alto a destra.

Aggiorna le impostazioni del podcast

Puoi tornare alle impostazioni podcast e audio in qualsiasi momento per aggiornare il tuo podcast, modificarne l'aspetto, gestirne la distribuzione o eliminarlo.

1. On Desktop, click on Your account from the bottom-left corner and then select Settings
2. In the Creator settings section, select Podcasts and audio
3. Click on the show you want to update
4. Click on Settings to update your show's title, cover image, description, and more
5. When you're done, click Save

To adjust your distribution settings, select Distribution, and toggle the Spotify integration on/off, enable/disable the RSS feed, or enable/disable the option to let anyone listen to episodes on Apple Podcasts.

Elimina un podcast

Se elimini un podcast, gli episodi rimarranno pubblicati su Patreon come post, ma non saranno più inclusi nel feed RSS del podcast.

1. On Desktop, click on Your account from the bottom-left corner and then select Settings
2. In the Creator settings section, select Podcasts and audio
3. Click on the show you want to delete
4. Click on Settings
5. Scroll down and click on the Delete your podcast toggle
6. Click on Delete
7. A pop-up will open, and if you'd like to also delete all episodes in this podcast, mark the checkbox
8. Confirm deletion by clicking on Delete podcast — This change cannot be undone

Esperienza dei membri

• I membri possono facilmente trovare i loro link RSS privati come segue:

  • Tramite un'email quando si iscrivono al tuo abbonamento.

  • The Membership section of your page, under Listen in other podcast apps

  If you distribute your episodes through Spotify, members can choose to listen on Spotify or use other podcast apps (via RSS). They also have the option to connect their Spotify accounts for quick access.

  

  In base alla loro selezione, verrà visualizzato un elenco dei tuoi show disponibili. Questo permetterà loro di aggiungere gli show a Spotify o di copiare il link RSS per utilizzarlo nella loro app per podcast preferita.

  

• Members can access their private RSS links by visiting the creator’s homepage, tapping More at the top, and selecting Add to podcast app.

  

  From there, members can choose their preferred podcast app (including Spotify) or manually copy the RSS link. Depending on what they select, they’ll be redirected to a list of all your shows available for that option.
