Whether you’re launching a brand-new podcast or bringing over episodes from another platform, Patreon gives you flexible tools to host, organise and share your podcast with fans.
This article will help you choose the right approach for your podcast and link you to the step-by-step guides you need.
Setting up your podcast
The first step to podcasting on Patreon is setting up your podcast show in your Podcast and audio settings – check out our step-by-step guide to creating a podcast on Patreon.
Already hosting your podcast elsewhere? Here are a couple of ways to get started on Patreon:
- Migrate from an external host: Permanently move your podcast to Patreon and manage all your episodes directly on the platform moving forward.
- Sync your existing feed: Keep creating and managing your episodes on your current hosting platform, while distributing them through Patreon.
Decide where members can listen
Once your show is set up, your members can listen in a few different ways:
- On Patreon – fans can listen to episodes directly on Patreon, both on desktop and the mobile app
- On other podcast apps via a private RSS link. Learn more about enabling RSS and sharing your episodes
- On Spotify, if you choose to enable the integration. This lets paying members listen on the Spotify app. Learn more about delivering podcasts with Spotify. If you also offer a free version of your show, you can merge your feeds into one seamless experience using Spotify Synced Feeds.
Organise and manage your podcast
You can create a single podcast show or multiple shows to keep your content organised. Patreon gives you tools to:
- Create and publish new episodes
- Move episodes between podcasts
- Manage your podcast titles, descriptions and settings at any time

Share your podcast with fans
When a member joins your page, they get access to your episodes based on their membership tier. They’ll also receive a private RSS link they can use in their favourite podcast app.
If your members run into issues with their RSS link, they can follow a few simple steps to resolve it. Check out our troubleshooting guide for common RSS problems
