Canceling a free membership

You can keep your free membership as long as you’d like; however, you can cancel if you no longer wish to receive updates about the creator’s work. This article has instructions for canceling a free membership on a computer and on the Patreon app for iOS and Android. • Follow these instructions while viewing your member profile. You can switch between member and creator profiles (if you have one) by clicking your picture in the bottom left corner and selecting the profile you’d like to visit.

  1. Click on the creator from the Memberships list located in the left-side navigation bar
  2. Click on the Membership tab on the creator’s Patreon
  3. Click the Edit button
  4. Click Cancel membership
  5. Your free membership is canceled - you can rejoin whenever you’d like

• Follow these instructions while viewing your member profile. You can check which profile you’re on by tapping your profile image in the top right corner and tapping the Switch to button for the profile you’d like to visit.

  1. Scroll through the creators listed at the top of the Home screen
  2. Double-tap on the desired creator from the list
  3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the screen
  4. Tap on Your membership
  5. Tap on Leave membership
  6. Your free membership is canceled - you can rejoin whenever you’d like
