Can I have multiple Patreon accounts?

  • Updated

Creators are now required to combine profiles

Are you a Patreon creator? From July 6, if you haven't combined your creator and fan profiles yet, you won't be able to use Patreon as usual, including posting and receiving payouts. That means some steps in this article may look different depending on whether your accounts are already combined. To learn more, visit our guide to combine your creator and fan profiles into a single identity. Or if you’re ready, combine your profiles now. Note that if you created your Patreon account recently, you may already have a single profile. If you don't see a prompt to combine, this doesn't apply to you.

You can have multiple Patreon accounts if you'd prefer to keep different things separate — whether you're a creator, a fan, or both.

Before creating a second account, it's worth noting that you can manage both your creator page and your memberships and/or purchases under a single Patreon account and login.

If you are a creator and want multiple people to manage a single page, Team Accounts lets you add collaborators to your existing page.

If you do manage multiple accounts, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Accounts must have different email addresses to log in
  • Your accounts are not connected, and information cannot be transferred between them
  • Accounts cannot be merged
  • Email addresses can only be tied to one account, so you can't reassign an email that's already in use
  • If you're a creator with a founder's account, this founding status does not extend to any new accounts you create

If you're looking to set up a creator page, check out our Creator Launch Checklist for everything you need to know before publishing your page.
