Have a limited amount of benefits? Want to limit the number of patrons in a given tier to save yourself from burn-out? Luckily, you have the ability to set the number of patrons allowed in a given tier, giving you more control over your membership business.
How do I limit space when creating a new tier?
Step 1: While logged in to your account visit your Page Editor.
Step 2: Select the Tiers link from the top menu.
Step 3: Select Add tier button.
Step 4: Scroll down and select the limit number of patrons checkbox. You’ll be asked to enter the number of patrons who can get this tier. Don’t forget to click the orange save tier button at the bottom of the page.

How do I limit space for an existing Tier?
Step 1: Log in to your account and click the edit your page button.
Step 2: Select the Tiers link from the top menu.
Step 3: Click the Edit tier button to the right of the tier level you want to limit space in.
Step 4: Scroll down until you find the Patron Limit field and edit the number of patrons who can get that tier. Don’t forget to click the Save Tier button at the bottom of the page!

Note: Make sure you are only using the patron limit option for benefits that will be difficult for you to fill with more patrons in that tier. If a patron tries to sign up for a tier level that has reached capacity, they may reconsider becoming your patron.
Pro-tip: If you want to make a new tier level, but don’t want patrons to pledge to that tier quite yet, you can unpublish the tier to hide it from your page. Don’t worry– you can always publish it later on. Once you’ve saved your new tier, you can unpublish it by clicking the edit button to the right of the tier. Scroll to the bottom and click the unpublish button near the delete (trash) icon at the bottom right of the page. Click the unpublish button when the pop-up window comes up, to confirm.
