A simplified way to sell
Starting July 15, 2025, selling digital products and creating posts were combined into a single, streamlined editor experience. If you started using commerce before May 22, 2025, the new experience will roll out to you gradually from July 15 through the end of summer. If you started selling digital products after May 22, you may have already seen the updated experience when you choose to sell a product.

There are two routes you can take:
- You can find your top posts by heading to your Insights page > Posts tab. This can give you a good starting point for which posts your fans are most interested in

Apple requires us to use their in-app payment system for purchasing digital products on iOS. This means that prices on the iOS app are higher to cover Apple’s App Store fee (30% of each sale). The increased price ensures that you earn the same on a sale across platforms after Apple’s App Store fee is applied. You can read more about this here.
-
Pricing can vary depending on your objectives and the nature of the content. Here are a few strategies:
- If the content is exclusive or larger in size, consider setting a higher price point. For instance, collections with multiple posts could be priced higher due to their added value
- Compare the price of your content to your membership tiers. If your goal is to provide a more accessible entry point, you might price the content at the same level or lower than your tier pricing
- Don’t hesitate to adjust your pricing strategy over time based on fan feedback and sales performance

No, any member who already has access to the post through their membership will still be able to access the content published to their tier. If you’re selling content at a higher tier, members from lower tiers will see the option to buy access or upgrade their membership.

Consider telling your free members and off platform fans that they can now purchase your work as a one-time purchase or unlock it through your membership. It can be as simple as a text post targeted to your free members or sharing Promo cards on your other accounts for a more visual effect.
