Listening on Android TV App? This article covers the Patreon mobile app. On Android TV, you can watch video and listen to audio, but queueing and autoplay aren't available yet. See Navigate the Patreon app as a member for what's currently supported.

Library

The Library tab is where you can find all content saved or in progress. You can tap the arrows to go through the full list.

The Library is organized into three sections:

  • Recently played: Audio and video posts you've been listening to or watching, listed in order of recent activity
  • Recently viewed: Posts you've browsed recently
  • Saved posts: Posts you've saved for later

Tap Your account Settings icon in the top right corner of the Library tab to manage:

  • Automatic downloads: When enabled, audio and video posts from creators you're a member of are automatically downloaded to your device for offline listening and viewing
  • Delete finished downloads: Removes audio and video posts from your device once you've finished listening to or watching them, helping you manage your storage
  • Video download quality: Adjust the quality level for downloaded videos. A lower quality uses less storage space, while a higher quality provides a better viewing experience

Audio Player controls

There are several ways you can interact with our audio player to enhance your listening experience:

  • Resume listening: When you pause the player in the app and come back, your position is saved so you can resume playback right where you left off
  • Skip forward and back: By tapping on the forward or backward skip button, you can easily skip ahead or go back in 15-second intervals
  • Adjust the audio scrubber: You can move the playback position forward or backward by dragging the slider left or right, or by tapping on a specific point on the timeline of the audio
  • Adjust playback speed  Vectors.png : The Patreon podcast player offers different playback speeds (0.25x to 2x), allowing you to adjust the speed to your liking
  • Casting Audio from a mobile device Vectors.png : You can cast audio using iOS Airplay if you’re on an Apple device, or Chromecast if you’re using Android. If there are no compatible devices nearby, the cast option is grayed out
  • Sleep timer Vectors.png : You can set a timer for the audio file to stop playing after a set amount of time
  • Add to queue Playlist.png: Control what’s playing next by adding audio posts to your queue

Managing Your Queue

Looking to line up multiple episodes or posts? The queue lets you build a seamless listening experience.

  • Tap the ••• menu on any audio/video post and choose Add to queue
  • Open the Queue Playlist.png from the mini player or full player to view your lineup
  • From your queue, drag items Vectors.png to reorder or swipe left to remove them

With the queue, you can curate your listening session and enjoy content without stopping between posts.

Want to turn off autoplay? Tap your profile icon in the top right corner, go to Settings Vectors.png, select Advanced settings, and toggle off Autoplay media. This gives you full control over what plays next.
