EU Digital Services Act

Patreon is a safe space for shared art and community between creators and their most passionate fans. We’re proud that 280,000 creators and growing worldwide trust us with their businesses, and we’re committed to ensuring the platform remains a safe and rewarding destination for the millions who visit it.

Patreon’s Terms of Use, including our Community Guidelines and Benefit Guidelines, are in place to make sure Patreon is welcoming to all creators and their fans. We are mindful that these policies — and how we enforce them — can impact creators’ livelihoods and creative freedom. We go to great lengths to enforce our policies fairly and consistently. For more information on how Patreon addresses illegal, harmful, or violative works, please review our Transparency Report for 2023.

The Digital Services Act (DSA) is a legal framework in the European Union (EU) that is intended to help harmonize rules and regulations governing such content moderation activity.
