My page was unpublished, what should I do?

To maintain a safe and compliant platform for creators and fans, Patreon has begun unpublishing inactive creator pages. This initiative ensures the platform remains a trusted space for creative expression while adhering to payment partner requirements. Below are answers to frequently asked questions.

• When a creator page is unpublished:
  • It becomes undiscoverable in search results and recommendations
  • It cannot accept new memberships
  • Existing content remains intact but is hidden from fans
  • The creator can republish the page anytime by logging into their creator profile and clicking Publish page
• Fans will no longer be able to access your content or manage their memberships until your page is republished. Once republished, your page will become discoverable again, and you can resume accepting memberships and payments. Free membership connections will remain intact but not visible.
• No, all of your content will remain accessible in a draft state, but it will be hidden from fans until you republish your page.

• Creator pages will be unpublished if they have been inactive for 30 days. Inactivity means no paid memberships and no new updates to posts or products during that time. Actions like logging in or editing tiers do not count as activity.

• We aim to make this process as seamless as possible for affected creators. They will receive an email and in-product notification 30 days before their page is unpublished.

• Creators can republish their page by following these steps:

  1. Logging in to your Patreon account 
  2. Switching over to your Creator profile
  3. Clicking "Publish page"

  Note: If your page is categorized as Adult/18+, Age Verification is also required to remain active. Failure to verify your age and identity will result in suspension of your page. You can learn more about Age Verification here.
